This… is Arttu (pronounced Art-two). A cute, little fox cub, this one! Curious, gentle, and just the sweetest, albeit a tiny bit mischievous! Arttu ran all over my attempt to burn his likeness into that 1 inch piece of apple wood… leaving tiny paw prints behind, as if he couldn’t quite sit still long enough to pose.
And then he proceeded to check out where I burned his name, nearly trampling all over my calligraphy, as if to say: “Yes, that looks right. That IS my name!”
Foxes are known as quiet teachers of adaptability, curiosity, and clever problem-solving and little Arttu seems to carry that soft wisdom in his eyes already, even though he is still a cub.
